The building is a simple nave and chancel with a west tower and a vestry to the north of the chancel. The nave was built 1794-96 following the demolition of an earlier church dating back to the very early 12th century. The chancel was added in 1886 at which time the whole church was reroofed. The exterior of the nave and west tower are rendered, the chancel is not.

The building is a simple nave and chancel with a west tower and a vestry to the north of the chancel. The nave was built 1794-96 following the demolition of an earlier church dating back to the very early 12th century. The chancel was added in 1886 at which time the whole church was reroofed. The exterior of the nave and west tower are rendered, the chancel is not.
The nave pews are from date 1796 are not of great quality and have been rearranged (Mid C19) to face east. The nave windows are twin lancets. The nave walls are plastered. There is a stone pulpit to the north side of the chancel arch. The chancel contains pine choir stalls, a JJ Binns organ of 1926, communion rails and a pine panelled sanctuary with an oak reredos superimposed over the central eastern section of the pine panelling. The altar table is open framed and of stained wood. The tower contains three bells two fairly large and one small bell with the year 1600 cast into it.
