Thatched in Blomefield’s time. Small church, flint and stone, 100 sittings, with chancel, nave, south aisle, south porch and round west tower, with octagonal belfry stage, 1 bell. South aisle built by Margaret Paston to BVM was long ruined, but was rebuilt in 1884 and the old arcade re-opened. Old screen much restored in 1906. Nave restored 1882 (A S Hewitt architect) and re-seated. In 1906 chancel restored and other repairs done for £570. Thatch in 1854.W tower. S porch, nave and chancel. This church is entirely thatched and the round Norman tower has a medieval octagonal top.
Simple but nice C15 font on two steps and a contemporary but much restored pyramidal cover. Modern roofs and benches and in the s wall in a wall recess is a high figure of a cross legged knight. In the coffin below are still his bones after 600 years. This must have been rebuilt as the piers and arches remain of a s aisle. Good C15 square headed screen with panels which once contained figures and an elevational squint on s side and return stalls a good deal restored. Good sedilia and double piscina, early C14, with piers and cinquefoiled arches and fragments of C14 glass in tracery lights.
