C11 long and short work in east wall. C15. Flint with stone and brick dressings. Slate roofs with small dormers. Lead on aisles. Nave and chancel. North and south aisles. South porch. North C19 vestry. All the windows were renewed or refaced in the C19. West tower collapsed in 1784. 3-light Decorated west window. Small bell-turret with spirelet on west gable. 3-bay nave with 3-light Perpendicular windows. 2-storey porch against west bay. 2-centre arched outer doorway with C20 glazed doors. Central vaulted statue niche containing C19 statue of St. John Baptist and flanking windows with cusped ogee heads above door. Crenellated parapet. One-3-light Perpendicular window in chancel aisle. 4-light reticulated east window and 3-light Perpendicular east aisle windows.

3 bays to arcades with bulky quatrefoil piers and triple-chamfered arches. Single bay north and south chancel aisles with 4-centre arches. Fine chandelier of C1500.
