The church consists of a Saxon round west tower, nave, north vestry, chancel and south aisle with porch. The tower has triangular headed belfry openings but its parapets are mediaeval. The south aisle and porch were probably added in the C15. Roofs were restored in 1890 when the north vestry was also probably added. The church has a remarkable fine set of five bells dating from the C17, one of only two in the county remaining from the foundry of William Brend of Norwich.

Exterior Description
C11 round tower with 2-light bell-openings with triangular heads, and central column. Later embattled parapet. Core of nave and chancel C11 with traces of long-and-short work on north-east of chancel. Perpendicular south aisle and south porch with flushwork panelling, traceried spandrels and niche over entrance. Two-light clerestory. Flint rubble with stone dressings with lead and tiled roofs.

Perpendicular 3-bay south arcade and chancel arch with octagonal piers and double-hollow-chamfered arches. Tower arch with single imposts. C15 font, octagonal with shield on each side. Pulpit lectern probably C16 Flemish.
