Largely perpendicular fabric but tower and chancel earlier. W tower, N porch, nave and chancel. Perpendicular nave, 4 bays, with flushwork parapet, embracing earlier W tower. Early C15 Porch with armourial shields in octofoils, brick and flint cheque work in gable, springing of groins inside. Chancel: late C13 or early C14. Rood stairs on S of nave. Arched braced nave roof, chancel roof and E Window tracery 1848.

C13 piscina. C19 benches, c1920 stalls, Holy Table and reredos. Two medieval stalls with misericords. Wall monument: Nathaniel Bacon: before 1615, Perhaps by Maximilian Colt.
