To the southwest an extension has been formed in two buildings to provide meeting rooms, offices, an entrance and toilets.
The Church was designed by F C Eden and based on the early Renaissance chapels. The construction started in 1933, but due to financial restraint the Eden design was not completed until 1964. A new hall to the Church Hall was added in 1997 and the annexe room added in 1999.
The Church, which is designed in an Italianate style consists of brick walls and painted with the sections to the west of the Nave not completed until 1964 and formed with concrete frame. The brickwork externally is painted white. The roofs are covered with pantiles. To the northwest is a tall Campanile, which contains a Belfry, but unfortunately the bells were never installed. The Campanile is linked to the Church with an open Cloister.
Internally the spaces are tall, the ceiling to the Nave is continuous to the Chapel and formed on barrel vaults of a high frame, the vault is formed by a hessian mesh coated with Plaster of Paris. The Transept and Chapel have arcading to the west and a Choir loft, which contains the organ.
